(Seattle, WA, December 4, 2008) – Rugly Holdings, Inc (http://www.RuglyHoldings.com), a holding company for organizations with products and services in the telecommunications industry, has hired Michael L. Evans as its new president.

Evans comes to Rugly Holdings from Certified Security Solutions, Inc., a national security and compliance consulting firm he co-founded in 2001 and built to $5.9 million in annual revenue. Previously Evans had been involved in the roll-up of four private, regional IT companies to create the national IT consulting firm Cotelligent, Inc., where he served as President and COO through 1999.

Evans’ arrival marks the launch of Rugly Holdings’ plans for acquisitions and an initial public offering in the coming months.

Evans holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Washington State University and is a member of the Seattle Business Leaders Forum, the Northwest Entrepreneur Network, and the Washington Technology Industry Association. While under his leadership, Certified Security Solutions was named to the Puget Sound Business Journal’s list of “100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Washington” in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
